Perryburger’s restaurant led by chef Ben Isaacson

By Matthew Kent- Perrysburger’s restaurant has been open for about four years, but it wasn’t until chef Ben Isaacon came along that brought some new changes to the burger joint.

The business located along Louisiana Avenue in Perrysburg is owned by Eric Tudor with Ben becoming part of the restaurant in February.

“I changed the menu and everything,” Ben said. “I put my take on food and made everything fresh, nothing is ever frozen that ever comes in here. We make everything from scratch.”

As a result, Perrysburger’s has become known for some popular burgers, including the BA BLT — a reference to the Big Ass bacon, lettuce and tomato burger that has homemade bacon and heirloom tomatoes on it. Burgers like the Rio Grande and the Texas burger that comes with BBQ sauce and bacon have also been popular among customers as well, according to Ben.

The restaurant also offers a special of the month and Ben said the establishment’s prices can’t be found elsewhere and noted that the burgers are made from certified Angus beef.

Hours of operation for Perrysburger’s is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
