Reynold’s Garden Café hosts seventh Sunflower for Seniors event
By Chris Galford
Reynold’s Garden Café is a place with history in the area. Once upon a time, it was known as Johnny’s — a local icon for decades. Though Johnny has since passed on, and new owners entered into the business, under the management of people like Brian Burleson, Reynold’s remains a locale dedicated to the communal environment of the local diner.
“It’s great. We see the same faces almost every day,” Brian said. “And we do great breakfast here. If you’re looking for the best breakfast in Toledo for the price, you want to come here. We make great omelets, and we run specials daily, posted on the sign out front.”
Yet even as the restaurant geared up for October and Halloween festivities, Brian took the time to welcome the seventh Sunflower for Seniors event and help new color bloom throughout the café.
“I was very excited to host this event. My customers were very happy to receive the bouquets of sunflowers,” Brian said.
