Right At Home of Perrysburg offers craft events for area seniors

By Meredith Ryburn

Right At Home of Perrysburg has a “big presence in Oakleaf,” says Jodi Gryca the activities director at Oakleaf Village of Toledo, “we love when they come.” Gryca is referring to the staff and residents alike who benefit from the recreation offered through Right At Home. Owner of Right At Home Perrysburg, John Baldwin says, “we normally come into different facilities one or two times a month to help them come up with things for the seniors to do.” The group brings activities, such as crafts, to facility residents that offer an enjoyable space for community connections. Crafts, explains Heather Leader of Right At Home, are really just a catalyst to bring fun, interaction into a senior’s life. According to the former art major, residents are “always happy to have a new face and new ideas.”
