Purposeful Trusts and Gifts symposium for Ohio financial professionals
By FLTN Staff
On May 15 the law firm of Bayer, Papay & Steiner Co., LPA hosted a workshop for financial planners, wealth managers and life insurance professionals in its office in Arrowhead Park, Maumee. The presenter was John A. Warnick, attorney, of Denver, Colo., the initiator of the Seven Keys of Purposeful Trusts & Gifts and founder of the Purposeful Planning Institute.
The Seven Keys of Purposeful Trusts & Gifts are transforming the ways in which families create legacies and leave much more than money to their heirs.
“Purposeful Trusts & Gifts are revolutionary,” said Warnick, “so revolutionary that we can trace two of these keys back to the hand-written will of George Washington.”
“Clients today are increasingly frustrated by the complexity and sterility of estate planning documents. The Keys of Purposeful Trusts & Gifts allow us to transform the estate planning process, and the documents it generates, into a warm and sustaining influence. I’m grateful attorneys Debbie J. Papay and Chris E. Steiner have brought these exciting new concepts to Northwest Ohio,”
Together Debbie and Chris have 66 years of experience in estate planning, administration and elder law, and have been the authors or co-authors of seven books in their field. For the past decade or so they have also focused on the asset protection aspect of estate planning, as well as the VA Pension for long-term care. They have sought ways for clients to pass on some of their personality in their estate plan—to leave more of their nonfinancial legacy. Debbie and Chris are thrilled to be implementing Purposeful Trust concepts for the benefit of their clients and their families.
