Dale’s Diner attracts locals to restaurant
Dale’s Diner opened its doors in December of 2011 and has experienced a lot of good times and subsequent growth as well, according to owner Bill Anderson.
The restaurant in Waterville has continued to see a steady base of customers from the area and is open for breakfast and lunch throughout the week.
“We draw customers from all over, not just Waterville. We get hungry visitors from Perrysburg, Whitehouse, Bowling Green, Sylvania, Maumee and Toledo,” Bill said.
Bill said the diner is particularly known for its waffles and pancakes and can be made with cherries that come directly from Michigan, blueberries, in addition to chocolate chip and granola.
“We do them every different way,” he said.
The lunch menu at the diner—burgers, salads, sandwiches and more—is the same that people would find at Dale’s Bar and Grill, another local establishment that Bill has operated since 1987. Bill said the bar and grill located in Maumee is continuing to do well, adding that it is best known for its burgers, reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere.
“It’s still a flourishing business in uptown Maumee with a loyal following,” he said.
