Happy New Year! Now stop feeling sorry for yourself!

As 2014 comes to an end and 2015 begins, take a moment to take a personal inventory. How did 2014 go for you? Did you accomplish some goals? Did you grow or try something new? Do you tend to procrastinate or whine and complain about your life? Overall, do you like yourself or do those around you enjoy your company? What is your legacy? I hope you have some answers to the above mentioned questions, but if not, shake off any feeling sorry for yourself thoughts or feelings and make a decision to make this your best year yet!
As 2015 begins, I encourage you to live your life intentionally. Live a life according to your true values, beliefs and your personal purpose. You are here on this earth for a short time and for a reason. When we live according to who we really are, we tend to live a fulfilled life and be happier.
Make a list and take some time as this year begins to write down some goals. Goals can be physical, financial, marital, spiritual, etc. Consider putting a time frame on each goal and/or create some subgoals. Then put this list in a place you can see on a regular basis so you can monitor and remind yourself to live a life according to your goals and purpose.
Make a decision today to make this year your best year yet. Remind yourself to live your life intentionally according to purpose. Your legacy is something only you can give so make it a good one … the best is yet to come!
